A roof repaint is as much a repair job as a painting job. We clean it back, fix the bedding and pointing, then coat it with a membrane that reflects heat and stops the chalky, faded look coming back.

How we approach it
Clean and inspect
High pressure clean to strip moss, lichen and oxidised coating, then a full walk of the roof to find cracked tiles and failed pointing.
Repair before coating
Broken tiles replaced, ridge caps re-bedded where the mortar has gone, and flexible pointing applied so it moves instead of cracking.
Seal, then coat
A sealer locks down the porous surface, then two coats of membrane. Skipping the sealer is the most common reason roof coatings peel.
Gutters and fascia to match
There is no point in a fresh roof above tired fascia. We finish the trim in the same visit while access is already set up.
Common questions
Is roof painting actually worth it?
On a sound roof, yes. It restores the colour, seals porous tiles and a heat-reflective coating measurably reduces roof surface temperature. On a roof with widespread structural problems, replacement is the honest answer and we will tell you that.
How long does it take?
Most homes are three to five days including cleaning, repairs, drying and coating. Weather extends it, since we will not coat a damp roof.
Will you walk on and crack my tiles?
Tiles do occasionally break underfoot, which is why replacement of broken tiles is included in the quote rather than charged as a variation.
